Arminius Wright papers, 1845-1900 (bulk 1845-1879).

The collection consists of the papers of Arminius Wright from 1845-1900. The papers include sermons, sermon notes and outlines, personal and family account books, photographs, notebooks, clippings, correspondence, scrapbooks, and minutes. Sermons, sermon notes and outlines, and notebooks are from Wright's work as a methodist minister; account books belonged to Wright and his wife; scrapbooks contain personal and family correspondence, clippings, and writings. Also included are a photograph of Lovick Pierce, listings of church members and collections, and the 1877 minutes from the South Georgia Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, in which a lengthy obituary for Wright appears.
