Henry Edward Sweetser was an American journalist, probably best known as the co-founder of The Round Table. Born in New York and educated at Yale, he worked as a merchant for a short time before becoming a reporter for the New York Times. He next served as night editor of The World, and founded The Round Table in 1863 with his brother, Charles.
