Concert pianist and student of American composer Edward MacDowell. She left her hometown of Sandusky, Ohio to study music in Boston. After her graduation in 1883, Mrs. Hadden-Alexander toured the country until the 1930s, appearing in such places as Cleveland, Washington, and New York.
