Hadden-Alexander, Stella.
Concert pianist and student of American composer Edward MacDowell. She left her hometown of Sandusky, Ohio to study music in Boston. After her graduation in 1883, Mrs. Hadden-Alexander toured the country until the 1930s, appearing in such places as Cleveland, Washington, and New York. In 1908 she settled in Wellesley, Massachusetts and dedicated herself to the propagation of her teacher's music.
