Arranged in six groups: I. Vocal scores (6). II. Orchestra parts (10). III. Vocal parts (13). IV. Chorus parts (20). V. Promptbooks (9 in 11 vols.). VI. Dialogue parts (45). The vocal scores are in German, published by Cranz (Hamburg, 188-, pl. no. C. 27598). The orchestra parts are manuscript. The vocal parts are holographs, in German. Chorus parts are in German/English and are mimeoed manuscript. All carry names of performers as well as the cover title "Seven Suabians." The promptbooks include one holograph book, in German; five typescript books in English, two of which are unbound; and three incomplete typescript English books. One, in two volumes, lacks Act II. It carries the indication "lyrics by Harry B. Smith, dialogue by I.W. Norcross and Harry B. Smith." Another, in two volumes, lacks Act I. The third is for Act III only. The dialogue parts include 32 German manuscript and 13 English manuscript parts, the latter carrying the indication "property of Jno. A. Mc Caull."
