Jeweler who invented the bitectoscope and the diamondscope. In 1908, on the corner of Market St. in San Francisco where Samuels had been a newsboy, the Albert S. Samuels Company was founded. For years, this jewelry house used the slogan "the house of lucky wedding rings."
