Replies to invitations for special dinners held in 1903 and 1907. The first, held by General Francis Vinton Greene, honored Col. William Conant Church, editor of the Army and Navy Journal. The second was held by Col. Church as a gathering of writers who contributed to The Galaxy magazine from its founding in 1866 to its merging with the Atlantic Monthly in 1877. Guest lists and miscellaneous papers are included. Among the correspondents are journalist Noah Brooks, Cornell Dean Thomas Frederick Crane, and foreign missionary George F. Herrick.
