Autobiographical accounts, 1946-1950.

Typescript copies of three autobiographical accounts by journalist Frank Warren Blair and his wife Martha Fullam Blair, recorded in their present form between 1946 and 1950. The first is an account of an attempt to bribe a Florida election official in the 1880 presidential election. In the second, Martha Blair claims that events connected with her aunt's marriage helped set Lucy Stone on her women's rights career. In the third, Frank Blair recalls how he helped found the Worcester Daily Telegram, and discusses the long-smoldering enmity between him and co-founder Austin P. Christy.
