Edward A. Weeks (1898-1989) was an author, essayist, and editor for the Atlantic Monthly . He was also author of more than 10 books, including: Breaking into Print: an Editor's Advice on Writing (1962); In Friendly Candor [1959]; and Writers and Friends (1981).
