Forest Preserve Centennial records, 1935-1986 (bulk 1985-1986).

The collection contains records from the 50th anniversary Forest Preserve celebrations (1935) including invitations, programs, press releases, and blueprints of the 50th anniversary tablets at Wilmington and Whiteface Notch. Centennial materials and press releases from the Adirondack Mountain Club, Catskill Center, and the Centennial Festival at Lake Placid are included along with papers from various Centennial projects and a Centennial flag. The collection includes records from "The Forest Rangers: a history of the New York State Forest Ranger Force," by Louis C. Curth and miscellaneous materials from 1985-1986.
