Immigration documentation, diplomas, letters of recommendation from professors, awards for academic excellence, research breakthroughs, etc. Also, college transcripts (undergraduate and graduate), a 1993 Citation for Research Excellence, and letters from Dr. Mitra's parents and grandmother in Bombay. Dr. Mitra also has a large collection of personal and family photos, including pictures of his paternal grandparents and brother Pratip Mitra in Minneapolis and cousins in the United States.
