The Carl Atiyeh Photograph Collection consists mainly of black-and-white negatives, although some black-and-white prints and color photographs (negatives, prints, and slides) are present. The Atiyeh Collection mainly documents people, organizations, businesses, churches, schools, school sports events, buildings, politics and various events in Glens Falls and the surrounding area, including Fort Edward, Hudson Falls, Lake George, Queensbury and South Glens Falls. Numerous photographs illustrate urban renewal, Glens Falls Hospital, the Glens Falls Portland Cement Company and golf.
