Frank Bateman Stanger was born in Cedarville, NJ on Aug. 31, 1914. He received his first ministerial appointment in the New Jersey Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1935 and served as pastor in 7 different churches in that conference until he became Executive Vice-president of Asbury Theological Seminary in the fall of 1959. Martha R. Jones was born in 1884. Her interest in nutrition was the outgrowth of her childhood illnesses of respiratory problems and severe tooth decay. She was the 1st woman to receive a Ph.
