Interview with George Clarence Moffett, a farmer, oilman, and a former state legislator. He shares his personal experiences as a member of the House and Senate of Texas for thirty-four years (1930-1964) and he discusses his experience as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention in Houston in 1928. Moffett also comments on Governors W. Lee Daniel, Coke Stevenson, and Allan Shivers, and oil legislation as well.

His special interests were transportation (especially the trucking industry), agriculture (cotton production), the oil industry in Texas, and education at all levels.
