Essay re sculpture and buildings in downtown Columbia, S.C. Unidentified writer discusses the S.C. Statehouse and the USC campus; includes three postcard views of the monuments to Confederate women and soldiers, and the equestrian statue of Wade Hampton in its original location on the east side of the Statehouse. Although undated, the essay notes that Longstreet Theater, built 1855, was approximately "sixty years old."
