Papers of the Reverend Henry A. Miner, Madison, Wis., for many years a Congregational minister. There are diaries and an autobiography of Miner's grandfather, Samuel H. Miner; Miner's own diaries and lecture notes, 1850-1862; a record of marriages performed by Miner, 1859-1921; the annual reports of the Home Missionary Work in the Southern District of Wisconsin, 1873-1877; and correspondence in connection with his work as secretary of the Committee on Pastoral Relations of the Wisconsin Congregational Conference and his numerous other official positions in the church.

Samuel Stillman Miner, b. 1808 in Wethersfield, Hartford Co., Conn., was foreman in his father's shoe factory.
