Miner, Samuel S. (Samuel Stillman), 1808-
Variant namesSamuel Stillman Miner, b. 1808 in Wethersfield, Hartford Co., Conn., was foreman in his father's shoe factory. In 1833 he began a shoe business with Henry Taylor in Maysville, Ky.; he married Araminta Brooks 1835.
