Records of committees formed by Benedict XIV of a variety of topics including: reform of the breviary, reduction of feast days, martyrology, Greek and Eastern rites. The records are important for the study of liturgy, feasts, etc. The series also contains rough drafts of encyclicals and printed copies of the Acts of the Consistory, motu proprios, and bulls. These papers were acquired by the ASV about 1758 (cf. L. Pasztor, "Per la storia dell'Archivio Segreto Vaticano nei secoli XVII-XVIII," Archivio della Societa romana di storia patria 91 [1968]: 157-249).
