Constable Correspondence, 1926-1956.

A series of letters between a British novelist and playwright and Michael Sadleir, Martha Smith and Beryl Emmet of the British publishing house, Constable & Co., concerning both professional and social matters. Hamilton makes reference to the publishing of his books including "Craven House," "Siege of Pleasure," "Twenty Thousand Streets Under the Sky," and "The Man Upstairs."
