Articles of agreement for a troop of cavalry : Newburgh, N.Y., 1774 Nov. 24.

In response to the Provincial Congress's call for the militia to be in readiness, twenty-three subscribers agree to form a troop of horse. Agreement includes details of weapons and uniforms to be provided by the members. Samuel Pilsbury, one of the signers, was among the oarsmen who rowed Benedict Arnold to the Vulture after the capture of AndreĢ.
