G. Oscar Russell correspondence, 1945.

Collection contains two letters written by G. Oscar Russell. The first letter, dated 22 May 1945, was written to James L. Barker and concerns Russell's choice not to pursue a position at the University of Utah because of his religious convictions. The second letter, dated 18 June 1945, was written to John A. Widtsoe and concerns the same University of Utah position as well as Russell's condemnation of the discrimination he believed to exist against Mormons.
