Account books, 1861-1879.

The first volume of this series consists of ten pages in a ledger, pages fifty-five to sixty-five, which were used by the Secretary of State to record various transactions involving a cash transference from 1878-1879. Most of the accounts are for copying official state documents or certifying them. The second volume of this series contains the incorporation articles and bank note register of the Farmers Bank of Alabama. Incorporators included Josiah Morris, James A. Farley, William G. Farley, and Samuel I. Bolling, 1861-1864.
