Correspondence, office files, pamphlets, award certificates and other material relating to Steingut's political career. Much of the material consists of correspondence with constituents and fellow politicians. The collection includes fifty boxes of plaques and other awards presented to Steingut. In addition to this material are special subject files, photograph files, copies of Steingut's mass mailing pamphlets and several boxes of invitations sent to Steingut. The collection also includes a limited amount of material relating to Irving Steingut, who also served as Assembly Speaker.
