Benjamin Rush (January 4, 1746 [O.S. December 24, 1745] – April 19, 1813) was a Founding Father of the United States who signed the United States Declaration of Independence, and a civic leader in Philadelphia, where he was a physician, politician, social reformer, humanitarian, and educator and the founder of Dickinson College. Lehman, George F., 1793-1859

George F. Lehman was born in Pennsylvania on 9 June 1793 to Dr. George Lehman. He received his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1813. He served as physician to the Lazaretto in Philadelphia for 19 years. He was made Quarantine Master in 1817. He died in Mt. Holly, N.J. on 22 September 1859.
