Lehman, George F., 1793-1859
Variant namesGeorge F. Lehman was born in Pennsylvania on 9 June 1793 to Dr. George Lehman. He received his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1813. He served as physician to the Lazaretto in Philadelphia for 19 years. He was made Quarantine Master in 1817. He died in Mt. Holly, N.J. on 22 September 1859.
