Gerry writes, "You will soon have the pleasure of hearing of the Capture of Lord Cornwallis & his army, & of the Removal of the Enemy from every part of the southern States." He also refers to failure of the old continental currency, privateering, a plentiful harvest, and the Articles of Confederation.
