Interview with Marvin Loveless concerning his experiences as business manager at Texas Woman's University, owner and operator of Marvin Loveless Photography Studio in Denton, Texas, and owner and operator of Denton Mini Warehouse in Denton, Texas. Loveless discusses his family background, farming in West Texas, his employment as secretary to the president at Texas Woman's University in 1922, and his experiences as secretary to the Board of Regents and business manager at TWU. He also shares his views on the performance of TWU Presidents Hubbard and Guinn, the plan for coordinating the operations of TWU and North Texas State University (earlier name of the University of North Texas), university dealings with the Texas Legislature, the establishment of his photography business in 1953, his wedding photography specialization and the origin of TWU's Little Chapel in the Woods, as well as his views on college and high school yearbook photography, photography studio personnel, and the business competition in Denton. Loveless also talks about the qualities of a good photographer, the sale of the photography studio in 1978, the development of a mini warehouse business in Denton, his civic activities, shopping center development in Denton, the dismissal of Dr. Blayney as President of TWU, the presidents of North Texas State University, and his views on developing leadership.
