The collection consists of records of the Rotary Club of Lynchburg, Virginia, including minutes of regular meetings and meetings of the Board of Directors which contain committee reports and recommendations by the Board regarding club activities and various projects. Also included are membership and officer lists, financial reports, newsletters, newspaper clippings, club memorabilia, and correspondence. Of special interest is the Club's project of the care, adoption, and education of seven orphaned children of the Henry family. The collection also includes a history, First seventy-five years of Lynchburg Rotary Club, by T. Gibson Hobbs, Jr., a history of the Henry family, Lynchburg Rotary's adopted family - the Henrys, by John Mills Turner, and a speech by Edwin Alaric Henry
