Kermit O. Hanson served as a professor of business administration and administrator at the University of Washington for many years. A native of Iowa, Hanson received both of his advanced degrees in economics from Iowa State University. He held positions with the Federal Land Bank of Omaha and with the Veterans Administration in Seattle before his appointment to the University of Washington faculty in 1948.
