This series consists of two volumes of opinions issued by the Judge Advocate General's Office as well as correspondence and related documents concerning military issues on which the Judge Advocate General was asked to comment. The opinions concern a wide variety of issues that include court martial cases dealing with specific individuals, the procurement of military supplies, leaves of absence, bonds relating to the rehabilitation of armories, articles of war, jurisdiction of the Court of Claims pertaining to military matters, martial law, inclusion of aliens in the state militia, and contracts concerning a variety of military-related functions.
