William Callaway Estes papers, 1875-1926.

The collection consists of four account books, a contract, three deeds, and a diploma. The account books (1899-1915) relate to Estes's medical practice; the contract (1885) is for the Joshua Berry Grain Cradle; the deeds (1875; 1887) are for land lots in Clayton County; and the diploma (1895) is from Atlanta Medical College.

William Callaway Estes, physician and businessman, was born in Clayton County, Georgia, September 19, 1856, and died August 12, 1926, in Rex, Georgia. He earned his medical degree from Atlanta Medical College (1895), and practiced in Rex, Georgia (1895-January 1901; 1916-1926), and in Atlanta, Georgia (1901-August 1916).
