Scrapbook, 1846-1900.

Scrapbook, 1884-1900, of materials collected bu Conner, in defense ofhis fater's actions at Vera Cruz. Included are Philip Conner's correspondence with naval officers, his 1897 article "The Castle of San Juan De Ulloa and the Topsy Turvyists," amd a copy of Admiral William G. Temple's 1852 memoir on the Vera Cruz landing. Also includes an appendix of all written military orders issued by General H. L. Scott and Commodore Conner having reference to the aforementioned memoir.
