Philip Syng Physick Conner was a Philadelphia geneaologist and author and the son of U.S. Navy Commodore David Connor, Commander of the Home Squadron at the 1847 combined Army-Navy operation at Vera Cruz.

Philip Syng Physick Conner was an historian and scholar in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He wrote numerous works on local history, military history, and genealogy. He was the son of Commodore David Conner, and the grandson of Philip Syng Physick.
