The papers of this poet and militant atheist contain poems, copies of his journal, Journal of art, science, philosophy, and catalogs for the Minnesota Institute of Philosophy, founded by De Young. The collection also contains clippings, leaflets, and photographs, some of which documents his unsuccessful 1974 bid for the governor's office in Minnesota.
