David Weiss-Stymean Karlen Papers, 1938-1985.

The papers of this literary couple contain the manuscripts and galley proofs for over ten historical novels, as well as two story treatments prepared by Weiss for David O. Selznick. The collection also contains over 200 portrait poems created by Weiss' wife, Karlen. These manuscripts integrate drawings into the poems. There is a small amount of correspondence.
