Catholic Church licensing documents, 1869-1886.

This collection is comprised of nine documents issued to the Rev. Athanasia Rogers between 1869 and 1886. The first is a "Diploma of Knighthood" of The Primrose League dated 25th August 1886. The remaining eight documents are Roman Catholic licenses that authorize Rogers to preach, hear confession, and say Mass in various English dioceses and one French diocese. The license dated 1872 is signed by Henry Edward Manning.
