Stanley S. Slotkin (1905-1997) was a Southern California businessman. He co-owned a chain of part supply and medical equpiment renalt stores called "Abbey Rents" with his brother, Milton. Slotkin was an amateur archaeologist and engaged in philanthropic activities, including donating antiquarian books and book leaves to churches, museums, and libraries. Biographical/Historical Note Romeyn de Hooghe was born in Amsterdam in 1645 and worked there until c.1680-1682, when he moved to Haarlem, where he died in 1708. For several Netherlandish provinces, he created interior architectural paintings and other works.
