The secretary of state for the colonies reprimands the lieutenant governor of New York for remarking in a speech to the General Assembly that Parliament was likely to repeal all duties leveled on the American colonies, and also for allowing the assembly to frame a new paper currency bill while the king was still considering their earlier one.
