Letters-Manuscripts, 1908-1913.

The collection consists of three handwritten notes by Conrad and the mimeographed typescript of his play, "One Day More: Play in One Act." The letters concern an interview request, permission for prose excerpts to be printed in an anthology, and a photograph. The printer's copy has Conrad's handwritten corrections and annotations. The printed copy has the stamp of Richard Clay and Sons, July 7, 1913. The collection also contains amanuscript of the introduction to Lord Jim authored by Nicholas Monsarrat.
