The collection primarily contains tapes of talks given on the subject of women in American society sponsored by the Women's Studies Committee at Temple Univ. The topics range from the politics of women's liberation to institutional oppression to feminism and literature. The presenters included Caroline Bird, Cynthia Fuchs Epstein, Warren Farrell, Florence Howe, Florynce Kennedy, Anne Firor Scott, Natalie Shainess, and Sheila Tobias. The collection also contains several typescripts of talks.
