These records contain utility companies' applications for rate changes, construction, renovation, new franchises, and changes in service, and document the Commission's actions in these cases. The application forms state the desired change, why it is desirable, and how it would be implemented. Also present are hearing notices, which were sent to the applying company and any other parties involved, such as municipalities, informing them of the date, time, and place of the hearing. Transcripts of the hearings show the evidence and arguments presented for and against the proposed change. Orders from the Commission are notifications to the company of the Commission's decision in the matter. Letters between parties are included.
