Includes memorandums, checklists, proposals, estimates, circulars, summaries, correspondence, reports, recommendations to the President made by the Bureau and various executive agencies, and other records evaluating the effects of proposed or pending legislation on the budget and fiscal management policy. Included are files on air pollution, civil rights, Federal employees, mass transit, occupational safety, older Americans, railroad retirement, the Republican Platform of 1952, and the Taft-Harvey Act. Also included are reports from Bureau task forces on legislation proposed to be included in the President's programs for 1965-1970.
