Letter informing Massenet of the continuing success of his opera LE ROI DE LAHORE, which has reached its 14th performance but must now cede to another opera. Notes Massenet's appointment as professor of composition at the Conservatoire. Ends with customary compliments and a short tune written to the words "mes saluts à la belle Juliette."
