Letter to Israel Keith, 1778 January 22.

Letter [to Colonel Israel Keith?] concerning muster rolls being incorrect due to men going home and thier names still retained. He points out that men are deserting, and while some return, some do not. He asks Colonel Keith to mention this problem to the General and asks for orders to enforce compliance with the 1st Article of the 18th section of the Articles of War dealing with muster rolls. Written at Cambridge, Mass.
