John P. Combs ledger, 1806-1822 (bulk 1812-1822).

The ledger contains accounts (1806-1807) with several families in New Orleans; entries (1816-1817) of Benjamin Collins; records of fees owed to Ewill Dalton; and notations (1819-1822) by a clerk, F. A. Browder, recording methods of payment. Some entries (1812) record sales of property and land in Saint Francisville, West Feliciana Parish.

John P. Combs was a dry goods merchant of New Orleans and a sheriff (1812-1813) of West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana.
