Types of records included within this series are certificates of citizenship, final naturalization, naturalization petitions, minute books of naturalization, petitions and affidavits, petitions and records, and records of naturalization. Information contained within individual types of records includes the name of individual and witnesses, country of birth, and date of action. Sometimes included are port and date of arrival, marital status, and if married, whether family resides in the United States or not, dates of U.S. military service, occupation, birthdate, places of emigration and immigration and name of ship, spouse's name, address, and residence, childrens' name(s), date(s) and place(s) of birth, and residence.
