Pursuant to KRS 278, the Commission has jurisdiction over the rates and services of all utilities (except those municipally owned) in the Commonwealth. The Commission seeks to ensure that safe, adequate service is provided at the lowest possible cost in conformity with regulations and statutes. These records document the findings and opinions of the PSC in investigations of operating practices and procedures of utility companies. All orders are binding on the parties involved. Orders contain the name of the company or case number, disposition of case, procedural requests, and signatures of Commission members.
