This collection comprises materials accumulated by Dr. Warren L. Bostick during his tenure as Dean of the California College of Medicine and the University of California, Irvine/California College of Medicine. While the bulk of the materials are from the time of Bostick's deanship from 1964-1973, the collection also includes some personal materials from 1932-1990. The collection consists of correspondence, photographs, newspaper clippings, a complete curriculum vitae of Dr. Bostick (in one volume), and a three volume work containing curriculum vitae and photos of deans, vice chancellors, and department chairmen from 1964-1989. This collection provides an insider's view of the history of the California College of Medicine as well as biographical information on Dr. Bostick himself.
