The records of the Thurgood Marshall College Provost, formerly the Third College Provost, contain administrative correspondence and subject files, outgoing chronological correspondence files, newspaper clippings (1969-1981), and photographs (1970-1989) of people and events. Additionally, the records include publications created by the Office of the Provost for students and parents. Included are the files of Joseph Watson (1970-1981), Faustina Solis (1981-1988) and Cecil Lytle (1988-present). The files document the functions and activities of the office including academic and facilities planning, the development of new academic programs, student/faculty organizations, and the administration of both routine matters and controversial issues and disputes.
