Reminiscences (1915) of Auguste Louis Larpenteur, a pioneer St. Paul, Minnesota settler and businessman who was active in civic affairs and politics, letterpress copies of his general outgoing correspondence (1900-1913), and writings by him on various subjects (1899-1913); a microfilm reproduction of an autobiography (1870-1872), three diaries (1834-1837, 1864-1872), and a cashbook (1869-1870) of fur trader Charles Larpenteur; a diary kept by Francis B. Larpenteur on a farm near St. Paul (1856-1861); a scrapbook of Emily Larpenteur Zenzius (ca. 1858-ca. 1886); assorted family papers and memorabilia (1792-1954); and newspaper clippings on Larpenteur family members, the Catholic church, and other religious topics (1890-1901, 1950).
